Ocean Prime

We spent an afternoon in DC and decided to stay for dinner. Our waitress, Angelica, was incredible. The entire staff was very attentive. The service was exceptional to match the food. Many items were either GF or could be modified if requested. It was busy with evening crowds, boasting many there for work meetings. The ambiance was perfect for a couple, to celebrate a special occasion, or to have dinner while working. It was not overly crowded and during the week we were able to get seated right away. Bonus is there is a Parking Garage a few doors down, so no need to stress about that.

For me to give all 5 stars it has to be fantastic Ocean Prime Seafood is fantastic! The service, the ambiance and how about the food and dessert? Yummy! I had the Blackened Red Snapper, Warm Butter Cake for dessert, Berries & Bubbles cocktail & lime mojito (so good I forgot to take a pic).

Excellent food and drinks. Very impressive and expensive. Definitely will be going again. Hit the happy hour if you want to save money. Reservations need for dinner bit has a large bar area.

There's not enough stars to measure the unmatched experience we had on Valentine's Day! We were escorted to a beautifully decorated VIP Room that sat four couples intimately at tables. The appetizers (oysters, bread basket and salad) were great starters. Then the entrees were superb (waygu steak, sirloin, garlic jalapeño au gratin potatoes, asparagus & hollandaise). For dessert I had Creme Brulee with the most delectable caramelized top!!! The wine was delicious, the cocktail was impeccable. The service was top tier!! Dazhai was so attentive, personable and informative! She knew the menu and brought forth such a beautiful air and lightness to the space. Wonderful time for a first time....the bar has been set! Ocean Prime DC is a true gem! We booked our reservation through OpenTable, which made everything easy and seamless. I started with the Berries and Bubbles, which had a stunning presentation with dry ice smoke swirling around the glass. For appetizers, my husband and I absolutely loved the Asian Thai styled calamari and the crab cakes. Both were flavorful and perfectly prepared. We then shared the lobster linguine with shrimp scampi, which was rich, fresh, and a perfect dish for two. For dessert, we enjoyed the complimentary butter cake with berry sauce and ice cream, which was the perfect sweet ending to an incredible meal.
