Ocean Prime

Absolutely the best meal we had in Boston in 2025! 🤤🤌 My girlfriend & I went to Ocean Prime for a special occasion in December and it did not disappoint. The service from the staff was so kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed, talking through any dishes/specials, and making sure our special dinner went well. The food, was on another level. The crab cake app was fresh and a nice intro, and then I got one of the specials that night - a red snapper over a risotto seasoned/made using their lobster bisque - amazing. The sides were nice as well, and they closed it out really well with a decent Crème brûlée & a 10-layer carrot cake the whole restaurant was ordering. 10/10 on all fronts, and already plan on coming back soon.

Recently got engage at Ocean Prime! This is an outstanding restaurant and easily one of the best dining experiences in Boston. The atmosphere is upscale but still welcoming, making it perfect for a special night out or a nice dinner with friends. The food was incredible—everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The seafood especially was top-notch. The service was just as impressive. The staff was attentive, professional, and made sure everything at our table was perfect throughout the meal. From the drinks to dessert, every part of the experience felt high quality. If you’re looking for great seafood, amazing steaks, and a beautiful setting, Ocean Prime is definitely worth visiting. I’ll absolutely be coming back.

Year after year we go to Ocean Prime on New Years Eve with the kiddos and it’s one of our favorite nights of the year. The last few years we have had to good fortune for Chef James providing a BTS look for the kids, showing all the hard work it takes for serving 900 people in one night. Our server, Yvonne who we also have had the good fortune of having wait on us the past 4+ years on this night, is also tremendous. We frequent this location throughout the years for date nights, corporate dinners, family celebrations, and girls dinners and every time it’s top-notch. The drinks are amazing, the food is always delicious, and the staff from check in to valet are so polite and welcoming. Thank you for helping make our end of year celebrations so specials- we can’t wait until our next time in!

Had an amazing meal at Ocean prime a short time ago and must have forgotten to post a review. Started with the wedge salad but the star of the dinner was the fish. Perfectly cooked with a butter wine sauce that complimented the fish flavor without overpowering it. The butter cake was delicious and it's one of my favorite desserts. OPs take in it elevated it above is humble roots. I can't wait to go back. Hopefully soon

I’m a huge fan of Google Reviews, so when I saw that Ocean Prime had 4.6 stars with over 2,000 reviews, I had a strong feeling it would be an excellent choice—and it absolutely was. This was a business dinner, so I didn’t take pictures, but the entire experience was outstanding. Our team loved everything we ordered: the tuna tartar, a sushi roll, and calamari—all prepared beautifully and full of flavor. I paired the meal with two glasses of Rombauer Chardonnay (my favorite) which was excellent. For the main course, I had the swordfish with pistachio—it was incredibly fresh, tender, and bursting with flavor.
