Ocean County Library, Brick Branch

I love that this library has all the vibe that young and old folks can enjoy. they have a vast array of books for children, teens, and adults. they have seats and tables that you can use for when you want to study, read, or work quietly. it has 2 floors, second floor is all glass windows , this allows you to see and appreciate the view of Brick HS in front, the ample parking spaces left and right and the beautiful trees at the back. i especially enjoy reading my books here and do my journal. when my eyes get tired, i stop and just look at the trees outside. they have charging stations and outlets where you can plug your device. the library as a whole isn't quiet quiet especially when families with children come to check out some books. it's family and child friendly place so dont expect so

Isn’t it supposed to be quiet usually? People are here to read and study as well. There’s no children events going on, and sorry not sorry it’s so loud. The parents just let their kids run around and scream. Why do ppl not even bother to try and parent anymore? This isn’t daycare. Have some respect. And why isn’t staff saying anything? “Go get your kids, please hush, this is a library.” Etc. Unbelievably annoying and rude with the lack of self awareness or they straight up don’t care and are selfish, when this is a library and I and other family members have come here to study in peace and quiet. Should be designated places for QUIET and places for children to play and be talkative. Rules should be enforced. This is not the park.

Not a very "library" atmosphere - lots of kids running around yelling and their parents standing around talking loudly. Staff doesn't seem to care.

Don't think most folks would think to review a library; I never did. Yet felt drawn to do so today. The folks who work in the Brick branch of the Ocean County Library are awesome: kind, helpful, downright uplifting! Thank you for doing your part in making the world a better place.

Perfect. It's like a little get away. Great staff, spacious, plants so tons of O2, great wifi, you can check out meeting rooms and you can even use laptops while you are there.
