Ocean Club Restaurant

We went as a group to Ocean Club for dinner and started with cocktails at the bar. The drinks were excellent, and the bar felt like the strongest part of the night. The space leans old-school. You will notice posted rules and a clear expectation that guests follow the resort casual dress code. No baseball caps or tank tops.  That structure will work for you if you want a more adult setting. For food, I ordered the tuna appetizer as my meal and enjoyed it. Friends ordered the chicken piccata, a salad, and key lime pie. I sampled each and thought everything tasted good. Ocean Club also promotes select nights with live entertainment and a lounge-style setup.  I might revisit, but I am not fully sold yet based on this visit.

I was in for dinner and had a great experience! I called ahead as I was by myself the night before a big meeting. Caleb took great care of me and his enthusiasm for the place really came through in the service! He started me off with a solid Hendricks martini and a bread basket of hot rolls. I asked for a side salad instead of the starch. What arrived was a small salad with three slices of grilled baguette topped with lightly smoked salmon, house blue cheese and capers. I was hungry and buzzed from the martini and forgot to take a pic. Absolutely delicious! When I arrived, I was shown to a table right by the big fish tank. Love it! We stopped by while on business in the area and were very pleasantly surprised by the level of service and the quality of the food. We regularly come to this area for 15 plus years now and have eaten ate a lot of area restaurants. This one is tucked away unassumingly to the side of a building, but when you come around the side it is really quite nice. The staff were very professional and made us feel appreciated even though we hadn't planned this and had no reservation. The dishes were plated and served with care and it was definitely noticeable. One of the best filets I have had without a doubt. And the icing on the cake.. the in-house coconut cream pie.... Big winner. We will definitely go again and recommend.

Food is amazing! Nice atmosphere! I had the Grouper Almond this time and blackened grouper last visit. Appetizer was crab stuffed shrimp, bacon wrapped and deep fried! BOGO deals for happy hour even!

Nice dinner on Christmas. Food was good, not great. Service was solid. After dinner drinks and creme brulee were all tasty. Not sure how seating usually goes here, but was surprised to have next to front entrance, near bar area, for a $300+ dinner.
