Ocean City Inlet Jetty

Great spot for fishing and watching the waves. The jetty gives you a close view of the inlet and the ocean, and it’s one of the best places to take in the beach sunrise and see boats coming in and out. Always a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze.

The beach is amazing , it has big parking, the atmosphere is really wonderful , the food and shopping boulevard has a great variety, however in the stores they give you a price and then they charge you $4 or $5 more, they don't give you a receipt. there is an amusement park with many attractions. The fireworks were great on the 4th of July.

The inlet jetty marker is a great location to go fishing, and sightseeing. It also puts on a great show during storms when the waves hit it. You can catch all kinds of fish everything from striped bass, black bass, tog, sheepshead, flounder, etc.. as you walk out the surfing beach is located to the left side which is open to surfers all summer long every day. The town dedicated that area to be used only by surfers, which is really nice during the summer. You definitely want to be careful when swimming next to the jetty, the current can get pretty bad. A lot of people like to come to the Jetti during some big events such as The White Marlin Open as well as the Fourth of July fireworks. It’s a spectacular spot in the summertime and in the winter.

I always like.gping to OCMD, but the.waves were rough this time.and the weather was fair but warm not sunny.
