Ocean Buffet

Honestly, I didn’t even plan to come here. Google just suggested Ocean Buffet, and it turned out to be a great choice. The food options are huge, especially if you like seafood. They have shrimp, salmon, fish, clams, mushrooms, noodles, and fried rice, and everything tasted good. They also have American food like pizza, donuts, and more, so there’s something for everyone. The dessert section has plenty of choices too. With so many options, I honestly didn’t know where to start. If you’re looking for a place with lots of variety and good seafood, this is definitely worth trying.

During my visit today, I saw an employee spray Windex on the glass directly above uncovered hot food on the buffet. Shortly after, I noticed a fully grown German cockroach walking across the first counter I approached. Seeing a roach out in the open and chemicals used near exposed food is extremely concerning. I did not feel safe eating here and won’t be returning.

Service by the young HS lady was friendly and excellent. Food overall good, but much was on the colder side. Labels are not accurate for many of the selections. Bathroom has overall dirty feel. Parking and location are good.

Food was good, but it seemed it was being maintained at a cooler temperature than usual. It could be because of the temperature outside being in the teens. My overall disappointment is the business stopped offering a long standing military discount, and using the oldest senior discount of 65 years old. This place has forgotten the desire offer food at an affordable rate. Spending $21 for a dinner for one is hardly a fair price. I will not be coming back. I will try other buffets further out not owned by this owner.
