Oakland Gyros (Oakland Ave)

A Milwaukee institution! Whether you are there sober for lunch or black out drunk at 1am, this place will take care of you and keep you full. Gyro combo with a baklava is my go to and it has been consistent for the past 17 years I've been going here.

I use to come here a lot, took a break, but then decided to visit them tonight and I don’t know why I did that because first I paid for an extra cucumber sauce and didn’t get it but I brushed it off, people make mistakes. But then I see something hanging from between my meat in my sandwich, so I pull it, and it was a piece of hair!!!! Just chilling in the middle of my sandwich! I’m disgusted and disappointed! What a waste!

No place like Oakland Gyros. If you like to eat good food this place has a range like no other. Prices are great. Nice family owned restaurant. If you’re a foodie or a food critic gives this place a chance and feel the love that Milwaukee has for you!

This is like our 3 or 4th time that we come with my boyfriend to this restaurant. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the food is crazy delicious. The last time I ordered something that we had never tried before by mistake and believe me, it was delicious. We also love the attention, it is very good. The service is very attentive with everything and very nice. If you want to go out and enjoy a delicious meal, this is the place you are looking for.😋😋

Burgers and chicken kabob platter is my go to. Always a great experience and flavorful food. One of my favorite spots.
