Oakenwald Terrace Bed and Breakfast

What a wonderful house! We stayed just one night in the Blue Room on the second floor. Very comfortable and clean, with safe, off street parking. Ruth Ann and Bob were attentive hosts and had wonderful stories about the house and the town. We enjoyed an amazing breakfast with other guests before departing early. A great choice if you find yourself with out a room in nearby Lanesboro.

My husband and I had an amazing 3 night stay for our anniversary! RuthAnn and Bob were gracious and attentive hosts. They shared many humorous stories about the history of the Oakenwald and the Lund family. The food was spectacular! 4 course breakfasts and a 7 course Saturday evening supper. Definitely would recommend having the Saturday evening Supper there! We'll worth the extra cost. The house decor is awesome and stunning. We got a tour of the house including the basement along with the history of the house and its owners and how RuthAnn and Bob came to own and run the Oakenwald B & B. Definitely recommend staying at the Oakenwald B & B.

Spent the night as a quiet getaway for my wife's birthday. Our hosts, Bob and Ruthann were terrific and made sure we had a good experience. They chatted with us through the evening gave us the history of this 130 year old house. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The six course dinner and breakfast the next morning were wonderful, and we were even gifted a couple of recipes to take home. We would definitely come back. We have stayed at B&Bs many times over the past 40+ years and this visit was one of the nicest.

This was my wife and is first time at a BNB and it was amazing. The rooms are all so gorgeous and the common areas are perfect for reading in. Breakfast was so incredible. An experience in itself. The hosts are so accommodating and nice. Being lgbt we were so welcomed like every other guest. We really enjoyed everyone we met and spending time in this Victorian mansion. The history alone was incredible! Do the 7 course dinner if you can. |We will definitely be back.

We traveled to the Oakenwald bed and breakfast for our anniversary. We absolutely loved our beautiful room. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The hosts Ruth Ann and Bob were so kind and fun to talk to. We enjoyed biking around the nearby towns and having a beer on the covered, screened porch in the evening. We’ve stayed in a lot of bed and breakfasts over the years, but this one was a favorite. Their breakfast was incomparable! They prepared a 4 course breakfast both mornings we were there. It was amazing. I highly recommend this wonderful place!
