Oak and Anchor Grill

I’ve been to Oak and Anchor a few times before. I went on opening day and about once every month since then. I’ve seen the wait times improve over the last few months and also the service. The food is good, I’d describe it as higher quality diner food. My family has tried a lot of different things and the number one for everyone is their smash burgers. I’m glad Oak Harbor has a dining in evening option and I am glad to see them keep consistent business. I wish them well. If you tried them in the beginning and service was bad and slow I’d give them another shot. It’s improving and you can’t blame an experienced server to not want to work at a new place they’re unsure of. Oak and Anchor opened with newer ownership about 6 months ago. It started out as a hotel a long time ago and then transformed into a restaurant. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was good with black booth seating and tables. We went on a snowy Wednesday for their wing specials. There are 3 rooms for seating. There is a vintage bar in the back and they plan to restore it in the next few months.

My first time stopping by, and would definitely come back again! Staff were very friendly, loved the decorations, and the food was excellent! My first time ever getting a PB&J Burger, and it was great! The hand cut fries were awesome! Tried one of the onion rings, definitely recommend! Definitely deserves a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review from me!

Very clean restaurant..although I was there for take out. I ordered 2 smashburgers, onion rings. The onion rings were very good. My husband likes his meat fully cooked. But I like mine medium rare and juicy. I was informed that the smashburgers are all fully cooked. Still it had a very good flavor. The onion rings had a very good flavor, more than just being fried. There was an added spice. Wanna divulge that added spice? The waitresses were very cheerful and polite. Overall...don't change a thing. On a scale of 1-10....9.5

We went on a busy Friday night. We were told there may be a longer wait for food and we didn't mind, because the food was DELICIOUS. Our waitress was helpful with making decisions since we had never been before, and the onion ring recommendation was top tier, best onion rings I've ever had! We shared meals and everything was so good. We will definitely make the 45 minute drive from Toledo and return again.
