O-Deer Family Diner

Came on a whim tonight. Ordered two cones, one made by the adult employee but we asked for vanilla with chocolate dip and she gave us chocolate with chocolate dip. The other made by the young boy. He was nice but it was a sad excuse for a cone that I was still charged a medium for. It was a child or dog size cone. The kids in front of us portions were at least double what we got and they were probably 7 years old. The adult lady didn’t try to correct him either which was the real issue. After a 20 minute wait outside we ended up not eating them because it wasn’t worth it. They were clearly overwhelmed and understaffed but that’s not an excuse. $10 down the drain.

Dreamy, creamy overload! Rich soft serve and a multitude of irresistible toppings, doled out in huge, generous portions. My go-to is a small turtle sundae, but I also like to pair a soft serve flavor with a topping, like cheesecake with pecans. Or if I'm in the mood for a fruity vibe, the rotating Dole whip options are lovely too. A favorite summertime treat destination!

The quality AND portions are out of this world. My picture indicates that there was so much ice cream in my small tin roof sundae that it was listing right away. Ample outdoor seating. I wasn’t sure where to park. Just don’t park in the reserved spots behind the diner as it’s a tow away zone.

I find this place enjoyable to look at nature and savor flavors of ice cream. 5 Stars!

People told me that this was THE place to get ice cream (outside Mr. Freeze) and so, we went for that but ended up ordering nachos and pretzels. It's glorified stadium food but tastes way fresher. We also all got ice cream and it is indeed amazing! I got the buckeye sundae - highly recommend. The two girls working were also on point. Very impressive. Also, the prices are very reasonable.
