Run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You can never wake someone who pretends to sleep, but you can always wake someone who is truly asleep. Staying here has been the worst experience of my life. The location is terrible and the neighborhood feels unsafe. One night when I got back, I found that my bag had been opened. My roommate’s bag was opened as well. We still have no idea who did it. It is extremely easy here to encounter the worst, most selfish type of roommates. The girl I stayed with today is one of the most selfish and unpleasant human beings I have ever met. In this tiny, cramped room, she revealed the ugliest side of human nature. She came back around 2 a.m., made loud noise for hours, and continued messing around until almost 5 a.m. The moment she lay down on the bed, the entire room shook —

The place is a very cozy place near the Statue of Liberty and only 25 minutes from the Manhattan Financial District. Recommended for a pleasant and cheap stay. Also, the host and staff are very welcoming.

I had a great stay at NYC HomeBnB in Jersey City. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-located with easy access to public transport and local restaurants. What really stood out was George, the host—he was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth stay.

DO NOT. Far from everything. Not welcoming. Problems with website bookings. Room and bed prison like.

Nice people, close to the metro, clean environment and safe area, I didn't have any problems, diverse neighborhood.
