The food was so healthy and organic and naturally gluten-free. We ordered Tamales and several items from the menu. Everything was delicious! The vibes were so wholesome. The owner is a joyful woman who loves sharing the food of her people with others. Everything was customizable and we were truly made to feel right at home. The next day we attended a private chocolate making lesson where we got to take home delicious self made chocolate. We love this place so much! Looking forward to visiting in the future!
AMAZING!!! My wife and I stumbled upon this small Oaxacan cafe late on a Sunday evening. Although we were full, I couldn’t resist trying the Atole de Guayaba. This drink was on another level. It rivals drinks from Michelin-recognized Carmelita Molinos but with flavors I have never experienced before. Nuni, the owner and native Oaxacan, welcomed us and guided us on a journey of flavor to her native state. We experienced raw cacao, hand mixed chocolate, chocolate de agua, atole de guayaba, and agua de bugambilia. Each tasting equally as good and richly flavorful as the previous. The food and drinks are incredible at Nuni's. The whole team is kind and genuinely interested in finding you a drink or food that you love. All of the tamales are tasty (I went back multiple times to try them all) and the drinks are rich and flavorful. I had wonderful conversations with both the owner and other customers. Eagerly waiting to come back again! Be sure to try the warm guava juice and the hot chocolate!
The best tamales I’ve ever had!!! Made with love and amazing bebidas! The couple here are so friendly and welcoming. 10/10 recommend!
