Number Ten

Started dinner with a martini was a little pricey. We had a Caesar salad to start dinner for the main course. My wife had the Pacific snapper with a side of jumbo lump crab, mashed potatoes, and the house, vegetable medley. I had a veal chop with the bone in along with jumbo lump crab, mashed potatoes and vegetable medley it was a little overcooked. I ordered it medium rare and it came more on the well-done side. We ended dinner with desserts. My wife had the tiramisu which she said was delicious and I had the carrot cake which didn’t have any carrots, raisins, and was very dry overall, dinner experience was a seven out of 10 the weight staff or fantastic and the atmosphere was nice

Had high hopes for this place due to visuals and reviews. Unfortunately disappointed. Steak came out slightly overcooked (medium instead of medium rare) and the pasta is almost certainly microwaved…at least that’s how it tasted. Some dishes were good though, like clam chowder and the sides. Service was ok - could’ve more attentive for the price

Number Ten Great Barrington is a true local treasure that provides a wonderfully warm and inviting dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the cozy ambiance makes it intimate dining experience, with just the right amount of buzz. The staff deserves special mention. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely knowledgeable about the menu, providing service that was seamless and contributed significantly to the great experience. But let's talk about the food. It was amazing! We opted for the steaks, and they were cooked to absolute perfection (as seen in the photo). The steak had a beautiful crust and was incredibly tender and flavorful. I am NYC’er and this GB food crushed. *caveat is that we ordered two dishes that were the weekly special, Wagyu and Lobster Pasta. Both were fantastic and we got the wedge salad and the French onion soup to start. The Buttermilk chicken also looked awesome

Amazing place to celebrate. They were the only restaurants in Great Barrington with their website updated to reflect being open on Christmas Eve. We called and spoke to Verne who was incredibly welcoming but could only offer seats at the bar that wouldn't have been appropriate for my young daughter. We appreciated the accommodating and honesty and thought that was that. Verne called back soon after when a lady minute cancellation meant a table was available, a small Christmas miracle. The ambience was exactly what we wanted. We were greeted warmly. Service was impeccable. Food was outstanding and one of the best meals I've ever had. Everything ok the menu was great. We loved Number Ten and hope to be back!
