Novello's Pizzeria & Restaurant ( Delivery & Take out)

Way back home we stopped at Scranton for lunch at Novello's. 🍕Food 5/5 Best italian-made Pizza. Tasty and natural ingredients. 👥 Service Quick &friendly. 🏁 Summary I can absolutely recommend it and will go for the pasta and rice balls next time.

I decided to get this place after reading the reviews. Many people say it’s like “new york pizza.” I could tell you right now that is offensive. The pizza had no flavor. The mozzarella sticks weren’t bad. The staff was nice.

When I tell you this is the best pizza in Scranton period period. Delicious it tastes like I'm in New York city. This is definitely my new spot and I definitely recommend if you in town go there for lunch or dinner amazing, thank me later.

If you're into New York pizza as much as I am, Novello's is THE place to go! Old Forge pizza is highly overrated and pales in comparison to Novello's in Scranton! To me, the sauce is the most important ingredient in any pizza, and the sauce at Novello's is as close to perfection as it gets. I understand that Gio, the owner, has been perfecting pizza sauce since the age of 11, and the quality speaks for itself. Besides pizza, Novello's offers a full menu for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly, energetic, and courteous, and their positive behaviour is an asset to any business. The waitress, Kristin, always brightens my day every time I visit. New York style pizza lovers, do yourself a favour and stop by this awesome restaurant. You'll be happy you did!

Be sure to RUN to this place upon reading this review. The menu is extensive enough to be considered "dizzying," so give yourself some time to mull it over. The staff (Kristin) is always quite cordial and very accommodating. I will include photos of my Chicken Bruschetta appetizer, along with a Sausage Roll just to give everyone an idea of what to expect from here, beyond the pizza realm.
