Nova Kitchen Restaurant and Bar

Ambiance was very strange. There was a video of a log fire on an extra large tv screen however the room was painted grey and felt like I was eating in a shipping container with the black ac pipes exposed, very industrial feeling. You may want to stick to the cocktails and desserts because the filet and raw lobster was concerning. My husband ordered the lobster tail and steak and we were shocked at how undercooked this was. Appetizers were meatballs and grilled octopus. Meatballs were tender octopus was extremely bland and rubbery. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Simply amazing! I usually don’t take the time to leave a review but this place warrants it. First, the service by our waiter Louis was impeccable! He was Super charismatic and welcoming. The food was top notch- delicious and great quality. The lobster risotto and tuna tartar were to die for! The ribeye steak was perfect. And to top it off, the cocktails (had passion fruit spicy margaritas) were 10/10 - on point!!! It’s rare to find a place with amazing food and amazing cocktails, and Nova definitely has both! Highly recommend. One of the best restaurants in Rockland for sure!!!

I went for the first time on a Friday night around 7pm. The atmosphere was lively and we were able to get a table for 2 without a reservation. The food was delicious (especially the scallop special and dessert!). The staff were friendly. My only con was the service could have been quicker. The waitress took a while to take our orders. I would dine again!

The food was amazing but what really made our experience was our waiter Louie. He was absolutely amazing! He really made it a 5 star experience. I will come back again just to see him again, he was that great!

Outstanding ambiance, good food. My NY Strip was good, the Grilled Octopus was deep fried but it was very good. The desserts were the best items on the menu, they were beautiful and delicious, definitely will recommend.
