Northwest Regional Library

This library has a multitude of books ranging from all genres and even contains some manga and graphic novels. They have printers and fax machines for fair pricing. Any questions you may have can be answered by the staff. If you need to use a computer there are many available to use with a library card. They have Greta art installed in random places outside and inside which are unique and even have a piece of the 9/11 buildings.

Wonderful Community Library! North Regional Library is a gem for the local community. The space is clean, well-organized, and full of resources for all ages. The children’s section is bright and inviting, with plenty of books, puzzles, and learning activities that kept my kids engaged. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist with book recommendations or computer help. They offer great programs—from story time and summer reading events to adult workshops and tech help. There are plenty of quiet areas for studying and a decent number of computers available. We love spending time here, whether it’s borrowing books, attending events, or just relaxing with a good read. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area!

While I was able to get some work done, I likely won’t return. The noise level was surprisingly high for a library—children were running up and down the stairs, laughing and yelling, which made it difficult to focus. Mental note - bring noise canceling headphones 🎧 The library itself spans two levels and has the potential to be a great space for reading or studying. Unfortunately, the overall environment was disappointing. It didn’t feel particularly clean, and there was a distinct, unpleasant odor throughout. I actually felt like I needed a shower after leaving. Outside the library, several homeless individuals were gathered. One man shouted, “I haven’t had a meal today,” which was heartbreaking. It’s hard to give a library a harsh rating because it gives kids enrichment. But I am baffled by this library or maybe how times have changed? Unclear. But this library has to be one of the most loudest environments to be in. If people are coming to study, read, do homework, use the computers- I don’t see how they can. Parents are letting their kids run around, scream knock things over. It’s a terrible environment if you need quiet time to get things done. How there is nobody regulating or asking people to get things under control is beyond me. The library is not a play place, if you want a place to let kids get their energy out go to a park and have respect for the people who are actually trying to use the library for it is intended for. This location houses THE ABSOLUTE BEST Friends of the Library section! Not just one or two shelves, but one (and a half) rooms of books! Just when I think I've cleaned them out, I come back a few weeks later and they're like a perpetual spring of my favorites! All in EXCELLENT condition! I LOVE coming here! No need to go anyplace else! Thanks to all those that efficiently run this place!
