Northampton Pool

Huge pool, 2 foot walk-in handicapped entrance. 2 diving boards and a tube slide. Large pool area for small children and ropped off area for the adults. Food and Snack Bar. Pricing is comparable to park concession stands. Lifeguards are all around the pool. Large restroom/ locker-rooms. Plenty of grass to set out a blanket or grab a chair and read a book.

It looks nice online and in the reviews but it's not what it seems. First time coming here and I was excited I was the first one here when they opened at 12 only to see the pool was dirty. Bunch of ants, bees, and leafs. Very disappointed, why not clean it first.

The was nice and it was good enough for the price to get in. The rooms to put your stuff in is pretty dirty and the pool is slightly dirty with a couple of leaves and bugs but not a bunch. I have never went on the slide but it doesn’t look very fun. After all the pool is fun and you would have a nice time and it’s also not as bad as people say it is (it’s also based off your experience and what you do).

It was our first time here and it was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. It was pretty clean besides some leaves and stuff of that nature. The shallow end is pretty big giving my son lots of room to play. There's 3 different diving boards, a slide (not very big), there were 3 life guards on duty when we were there and there's a food stand (hotdogs, candy, drinks etc..) you can also bring your own food and bev. Lockers room have showers, bathrooms, lockers and changing rooms. Definitely going back

The pool, snack bar, and bathrooms are really in need of updating, but until it happens cleaning these areas would work wonders. Cleaning of the filters around the pool for starters ugh all of them are clogged and filled with leaves, hair etc. Skimming just doesn’t matter if filters are all clogged. The throwing of regular footballs in the pool should be stopped now before someone gets hurt. Kids and some adults passing a regular football the length of at least half of the pool is an accident waiting to happen and prevents others from enjoying the pool. We bought a pool pass this year, because I retired and thought it would be nice to take my granddaughter there, but each time we go it’s one thing or another that makes for a very unpleasant experience.
