North Shore Cottages

This resort has become one of my husband and I’s new favorite traditions. Last year I surprised my husband with a weekend away at the red cottage. Absolutely stellar experience, so much so that I booked the clubhouse for this year. I even ended up booking the clubhouse again for next year. after we settled in this year. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner of this beautiful property. Very hospitable and so happy to tell you about his family’s history of owning the property. He’s constantly making upgrades around the property and the yooperlite hunting is awesome. It truly is a home away from home. We can’t wait to return!

A true slice of Keweenaw heaven! Just had my 7th stay at NSC and it was wonderful as usual! I have stayed at 3 different cottages here and all offer the creature comforts of home. Everything that you may need to cook is provided. Linens and plenty of towels are provided. The beds are comfy. There is WiFi and some games provided. Easy check in. There is an informational binder that goes over all the details of your stay and has local recommendations. The owner is incredibly hospitable, quick to respond to anything you may need, and does a great job maintaining the site and improving the experience year after year. You can’t ask for a better view of/access to Lake Superior. It is a rock hounders dream! You are less than a 10 minute drive to Calumet, 20 to Houghton, and less than an hour fro

Our stay at the Clubhouse was exceptional! We were able to see the Northern Lights steps away from the cottage even on a cloudy night! The cottage was a perfect location to explore the Keweenaw.

We have stayed in two of these cottages in the past year, soon to be three in October. The area is a very peaceful and quiet, just steps from Lake Superior. There are other rentals under the same ownership that are typically occupied nearby, but there is so much shoreline it still feels very private. The owner is constantly making upgrades and improving the properties. They are extremely clean and stylish. Thanks for sharing this beautiful slice of the Keweenaw!

Beautiful cottage on Lake Superior. We stayed in the Clubhouse Cottage. It was quaint and cozy. Super cute with gorgeous views of Lake Superior.
