Best Portuguese-style BBQ on Bloomfield Ave in my humble opinion. The flavor of the ribs we ordered were unmatched, even the rice & fries were good. I paid a little more than the other place and I would do it again and again. You earned a loyal customer. Also, I ordered over the phone. The guy was so nice. And I will never forget that.

He takes care of us. He's a praying man and he's very thoughtful. This is what you want over your food. A good soul. Very reasonable. Very generous portions. Get you a cup of espresso to chase the good meal down you'll love it!

We ordered catering from North Newark BBQ for a business event, and the food was outstanding. The pork ribs and rotisserie chicken were perfectly cooked and tender, seasoned just right with a flavorful dry rub. We also ordered a seafood platter, which was a big hit! The garlic green sauce paired wonderfully with the freshness of the shellfish. Danny & Cilinha executed my requests flawlessly and delivered everything on time. Came here randomly with my wife because we were in the area. I was be greeted by the owner. We exchanged pleasantries and ordered our food. The food was excellent. The owner is a good man with a kind heart. It always makes me happy to see restaurant owners that have that love of our Lord Jesus Christ and his love truly shines through in the food and the way he treats people.
