North Merrick Public Library

Cute neighborhood library. Not very big, but the children's room librarians are amazing and very accommodating. I do wish they offered more frequent programs for school aged kids after school or on weekends like the other local libraries do. Could use some cosmetic updates, but they've done some in the past couple of years, so hopefully that's coming!

So I had gone into the library on Friday and I asked the lady on the front desk for help about printing pages. She definitely explained how the process works, but she did it in a very rudely manner. I do not appreciate the tone of voice and attitude that she used, very unprofessional. I don’t understand, If you hate dealing with people then you shouldn’t work as a librarian, this is ridiculous and pathetic. It’s a lady with red hair and glasses, all ways in the front desk. This type of interaction shouldn’t be tolerated. Beware everyone

So easy to get a library card. So many resources at the library. Every one was very helpful.

Trolley ride was fun! As a long time resident of North Merrick I learned new facts. Thank you to the local stores who supplied the treats! Great job!

This is clearly one of the best libraries in New York the staff is wonderful accommodating how there serving to the patrons. The wonderful programs for all groups; children's youth and adults... I just cometed a excellent program today: axe throwing..safe outdoors and fun with my nephew.
