I’ve been traveling throughout the Mid Hudson Library system on their “roadtrip” and North Chatham was by far one of the best. The clerk working was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She gave me the history of the area/building and showed me the many quirks of the building.
I'm not sure how after a lifetime of living in the area this was my first visit to this charming library- but it was! I attended an "event"- Jean Mackay spoke about her painting, drawing and live of nature. Not only was i inspired (I can barely draw a straight line🤭) but enamored with the special welcoming people of the library and surrounding areas that also attended. May have been my first visit- but won't be my last!
Small town library feel with an impressive wealth of new fiction! They’ve got it all baby!
Amazing staff and great with the kids!
They have great information sessions and educational workshops ...free! Wonderful benefit to our community.
