If you live next to the maintenance Facility they changed to a park on a one lane farm road . Without permits. t's not such a nice experience. Rangers Creeping around in the bushes taking photos of stuff you're working on, Turn you into the county even though it's totally legal. The county tells them And THAY STILL COMPLAIN .I'm talking about having a parkmodel Trailer for my 80 year old mom on my 7 acres. Crazy huh. 100s of horribly corrupt e mails and 50 thay won't release. Puts emp.in bad light thay say.?? I could go on .epitome of government waste and overreach. ITS NOT A PARK, it's a mant facility. They're multi million dollar visitor center is thirty miles north.

Simply stunning. Amazing drive with frequent stops for picnics and scenic overlooks. The string of dams are awesome to see and create a series of beautiful lakes.

Exactly what is needed before going to the forest and mountains; maps, guides, fee information. It's also a great place to purchase items related for yourself or gifts!

Excellent ranger station! Conveniently located on Highway 20, clean & accessible gender-neutral bathrooms, helpful staff and top-notch dad cap selection. 10/10 would go back again (to add more embroidered animals to my collection!)
