What an amazing little gem! The atmosphere was such a throw back. The menu was great and the prices were so reasonable. It literally hit all of the stars for me. They have this cute little antique stove set up as a coffee station. It's adorable because the regulars come in, grab a cup, fill it up, and take a seat. I ate biscuits and gravy. The biscuit size was amazing. Coming from the north I can definitely say everything's bigger in Texas.
Never could tell this place was open - it is and the food is great, service wonderful!! Hidden gem in Pampa!! Will stop when we ride through again! Breakfast Mess without potatoes was perfect, thanks so much!!
We went for the smoking section which no longer exists. Then they got my order wrong. When we went to pay, we were charged twice as much as what the menu said. That is why the tip was not as much as usual. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!
Finally, a place that cooks your eggs the way you request them and knows how to cook sausage. Unlike the many chains that I have frequented. The eggs and sausage were cooked to perfection, and I decided to try a pancake along with it because I was thinking that it would be the size of chain restaurants. This pancake was triple the size that I expected and was cooked perfectly. I was very surprised with the size of it as Many of the chains will give you one small pancake, and actually three pancakes from the food chains were the size of just this one. Very reasonably priced for the food you get, go with an appetite. You will not be let down.
Had breakfast at North 40 Settlers and was not disappointed! Ordered the hotcakes, eggs, hash browns, and sausage—everything was cooked perfectly. The hotcakes were fluffy and just the right amount of sweet, the eggs were made just how I like them, and the hash browns had that perfect crispy texture. The sausage was flavorful and a great complement to the meal. Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. The staff made sure everything was just right, which added to the great experience. Definitely a solid spot for a good breakfast in Pampa. Highly recommend!
