Norma's Soul Food

The wife n I shared a 2 piece catfish plate, with macaroni n cheese n collards! 9.5 out of 10. Delicious w/ a side of smoked brisket; smoked right n flavorful!!!! Thank goodness we have a soul food place with some smoked eats on this side of Harvest/Toney. We will be back this week!

Hot dang the brisket is legit. Got to try a few sides and everything is delicious. Don't let the small shack fool you, this place is worth checking out. It's pick up only for now, so I'd call ahead.

Yall this place is what Harvest needed!! So excited to have an option that isn't fast food. Every single thing I tried was amazing. We ordered smoked chicken, sweet potatoes, cabbage, and the BEST mac and cheese i think I've ever had. The owner is working on adding ribs to the menu and he gave us each a sample rib. Hands down the best rib I've ever had from a restaurant. Go try this place, you wont be disappointed.

Norma’s Soul Food was a really good experience overall. The food had that classic homemade soul food flavor and you can tell it’s made with care. Everything was hot, fresh, and satisfying. The service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely a solid place to stop if you’re craving soul food. My biggest complaint was portion size. The food was a little expensive for what you get. For example, I got the brisket and it was 2, thin slices. The banana pudding was a small portion as well. I’d come back again though to try more items and see if that changes my review

Well….what I went yesterday (3/1/26)….the food I had wasn’t good. I had the smoked chicken which was dry and the skin was hard. It’s been better from him. Maybe he was having a bad day. I will get the chicken again but them sides…HELL NAW!!! The greens were bitter with absolutely NO SEASONING. The cabbage was the same way. They tasted like water. Why was the Mac and cheese soupy. Why was the cheese running!!? I might go back for some fried fish but I don’t want no sides….
