Tucked quietly into the corner of a strip mall, this place is the definition of a hidden gem. It’s unassuming from the outside, but the food here is consistently excellent and far exceeds expectations. The fish quality is outstanding: fresh, clean, and handled with care. Whether you’re getting nigiri, rolls, or sashimi, you can really taste the difference. The cooked dishes are just as strong, which isn’t always a given at sushi spots. The real star, though, is the bento box. If you want the most bang for your buck, this is absolutely the way to go! You get miso soup, salad, a California roll, tempura, nigiri, and two main dishes. My favorite main dishes are the fried salmon, beef, chicken katsu, and extra nigiri! An incredible amount of food for the price. Everything feels thoughtfully
This is the best sushi I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. They offer specialties like wild sockeye salmon, uni, and delightful rolls. The ramen is also delicious, fresh and homemade. We love this place so much, we go whenever we’re in the area!
Great food, service, atmosphere and the parking is very easy, non-chaotic and free. I liked that they were playing Japanese ambience videos on the TV instead of anything else, plus calming Japanese music. I usually just go to the same sushi place over and over for no reason so I decided to branch out and I’m glad I did. They had simpler rolls for around $10 or less. And fancy rolls for closer to 15-20. Pictured is the fried Cali roll and Seattle? Roll (can’t remember). Both delicious Update: just returned to have ramen for the first time. I forget what it was called but it was the pork belly with pork broth. I am continually blown away by the quality of the food, and although I typically just eat at home, this is the one place I really look forward to and do not hesitate to spend money be
I’m so lucky to have this place only half a mile from my house. This has to be one of the best sushi spots in all the Seattle area. The quality of their fish is so fresh always. Free tea everyday. We usually get the Miso soup, Omakasi Box (amazing), edamame. Today we tried the Tiger Eye appetizer. Will be on our top appetizer to order here. If you haven’t you must try this place!!!!
Clean simple restaurant we had the small boat shared across 3 with a few nibbles from the others with very fresh seafood with thick cuts of sashimi. Also delicious tempura udon and ramen. Worth the price. We’ll definitely be back.
