Customer Reviews
The first dim sum restaurant in Philly with great prices and good portions. Best dishes here was the Phoenix Bun, Stuffed Eggplant, and their Turnip Cake, but you truly can't go wrong with any of the options. They are known for their steamed pork buns, which tasted good, but not my favorite. I also wish they offered vinegar for the soup dumplings. They provide you with a thorough menu with pictures and you mark which options you'd like. The service is speedy and friendly. Thee staff is fast about removing and bringing plates. The restaurant is rather small/tight, so depending on when you come, you may need to wait a little bit or eat at the bar. A fun part is the wallpaper in the restroom that shows different dim sum options with descriptions.
Such a great experience. The waitress (owner? manager?) was great from the time I was seated. She provided recommendations for each area, from the tea, to the dimsum, to the main dish. I have only the best to say about each dish. The sweet soy on the shrimp rice roll, the dipping sauce, the soup in the soup dumpling-each was unique and flavorful. The atmosphere was great as well, giving a relaxed vibe while enjoying my dinner.
Excellent all around! We came here about a year ago, and were so pleased. We don’t come to Philly often, so we were excited to come back to this restaurant. We were too early, they weren’t open yet. We were warmly welcomed in before opening time, which was very nice. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Wonderful service, absolutely amazing food. Prices are very reasonable as well. (Ate some of the food before getting a picture lol)
Excellent food at very reasonable prices. Service is good. Relaxed atmosphere. Would recommend for dim sum!
Got the spicy wontons, curry beef dumplings, bao, shrimp shumai, pork soup dumplings, and shrimp bean curd tofu rolls. The dipping sauce that comes on the side is super delicious.
