Nolo's on the Levee

I don’t know how this place has less than 5 stars. We are foodies and enjoy exploring a wide range of high end and dive food. Nolo’s was incredible. We came at a lunch rush so we waited a bit for our food but once it hit the table. Every single bite I just kept saying WOW. We were so impressed. We got the Nolo Smashburger and the special which was a version of eggs Benedict with pork, green onion, barbecue and hollandaise sauce on a corn biscuit. Both of them were absolutely amazing. Every single bite was hot and full of flavor. We quickly regretted not ordering a biscuit with gravy to try because our meals were so beautifully crafted I am almost certain it would’ve been impeccable. A must go! Best brisket this side of the Mississippi! Best smash burger in Kentucky. Wings that bring a whole new meaning to Kentucky Fried Chicken. Excellent follow-up from staff. Awesome greens, pretzel bites, cornbread, and mac n cheese.

Found this place on google after researching restaurants in the area, we were there attending a basketball tournament and wanted something good, somewhere we’ve never ate. Came across this place with good reviews so we figured we’d try it out. Seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere, in a historic building. We walked in and the smell of smoked meats hit us instantly. They had a beautiful fire going in the fireplace, instantly felt cozy. We walked up to the counter and ordered. The menu is simple, but they’ve perfected it. They had crayons and coloring sheets for this kids. They had good music going. Bathrooms very clean. Our food was amazing. We got the nachos for our son, the smash burger and tots for our 5 year old. Best restaurant in Montgomery County! Prices are great, staff is friendly, and I LOVE the music. Such a laid back vibe with the best grub. We eat here at least once or twice a week!

Heard about this place on a hiking the RRG FB page and tried them out for brunch on the way home. SO GLAD WE WENT!!! The service was awesome…I think everyone that worked there asked us at least once how our food was and if we needed anything. Clearing our table throughout, great attention to detail. The food was fantastic! We got the Eggs Benedict Special which was called Honeymoon eggs Bene. The eggs were cooked perfectly, so key with EB! Loved the croissant, country ham, asparagus version. The cheese grits were so good. Prices were very reasonable. We can’t wait to go back…this will be a regular addition to our camping trips!
