Seating was limited but was given a spot at the bar immediately. Very clean and well-kept, with a calm but busy dinner ambiance. Bathroom was very clean and spacious. I ordered the Tokyo ramen with chicken broth (I have a sesame allergy) and loved it, no issues. Broth could have been richer and karaage was a bit on the hard side (it could have been more chewy and melty on the inside). Overall a great spot for ramen! Recommended.
Best ramen experience I’ve had in SF! The chicken thigh was packed with flavor, even inside the meat (you know when it’s seasoned just right 👌). The broth was so rich and creamy, but perfectly balanced, not too salty and not too plain either. Everything came together so well, from the texture of the noodles to the depth of the broth. I left super satisfied and already craving it again. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to!
Not too many ramen choices on the menu. The chicken leg in the signature Soy Sauce Tori Paitan was tender and well-seasoned, the ramen broth was rich and delicious but salty. The texture of ramen noodles was a bit tough.
Overall disappointing. Seemed like a limited set of ramen options for a restaurant with ramen in its name. Nothing with beef. Ordered the Tokyo Ramen. Included pork slices were thin and exceptionally lean and dry. Broth wasn’t very flavorful. Only QR code ordering available seemed unnecessarily impersonal. $5 for hot tea and they apparently out of green and jasmine options. Wouldn’t think that would be difficult to source in SF.
死んで天国に行った気分だ。 (Shinde tengoku ni itta kibun da.) “I feel like I died and went to heaven.” Try the Chicken Paitan Soy Sauce ramen—hands down the best ramen I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. The balance of flavors is absolutely perfect. I went to bed without brushing my teeth just so I could savor them all night 🤪
