Nobu Indian Wells

Nobu - in a one-word review "No-Boo." I had to sit with this for a while . . . I never like leaving any sort of negative review, but sometimes it feels almost like an obligation to fellow diners as well as the staff that deserve this sort of info. When you cross the threshold of a well-known/famous establishment there's going to be a very high expectation, which in this case was no exception. But wow, what a disappointment. I'll start off first by saying the atmosphere in the inside dining was nice, although a bit dark. The outdoor space had to contend with construction noise from below and the smell of kerosene from the outdoor heaters. It’s Nobu…..have they ever served a bad meal? Excellent ambiance, service, vibes, and of course, the food. It’s kinda weird how there is security at every point walking into the restaurant but you’re on the grounds of the IW Tennis Gardens so they don’t want people wandering. But once inside, you have made it to your happy place. The food is everything you expect but you certainly will feel it when you get the check. It’s not someplace you go to weekly but you aspired to dine at quarterly. We feel privileged the desert is home to Nobu.

Had a really great time there. Service was excellent. Everyone (the guys at the valet, the waitstaff, the very funny golf cart gents) made the experience fun and still luxurious. The views were great too. And yes the food was delicious but it was the service that made it a really nice experience. I’ll go back just for the golf carts.

Our first visit to this Nobu location in the desert. Everything was great, our server Brittany was amazing. Raw menu was great (oysters a bit pricey) yellowtail and fluke dishes were superb. Black cod bites perfect, sliders great, and the filet cooked to perfection. Views of tennis facilities spectacular.

One of the best meals ever. For real. The food was positively epic and every dish was a home run. I can't begin to say enough about the team that took care of us and how skilled and kind they were: Daniel served us and Aaron assisted. I haven't had service this good in actual years: perfectly attentive and happy to suggest without being pushy. Unfailingly respectful, great menu and food knowledge and so friendly. We also appreciated the kind attention from manager Greg. This was our first time at Nobu but it will absolutely not be our last and we look forward to seeking out other Nobu experiences. I will also add our Google maps directed us to the wrong entrance for the restaurant and we ended up wandering from across the entire tennis garden looking for the restaurant. When some very kind
