Noble County Public Library (Avilla)

What a gorgeous library! I stopped on a hot July day to recoup from a long drive and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Only problem is, there were just two patrons and I don’t live in Noble County. Avilla—embrace your library! There is so much to see, do and access.

Loved the children’s area! Nice and friendly staff. The nature area (and dog park!) was a pleasant surprise. We got to go exploring along the trails. It’s very pretty and full of things to learn. The stumps have stories along the way and it really encouraged my toddler to keep going. He loved it!

Wonderful library with friendly staff and fun programs. An added bonus is that there's a network of trails through a wooded area, as well as a small prairie behind the dog park, near their parking lot. There's a wide variety of plants scattered throughout the trails. Check out some plant i.d. books from the library and go on an adventure!

We went there to vote on May 7. The library provided great parking. The voting area was well marked. The poll workers checked us in and explained how to use the voting machines and cast the ballot. I plan to return in November.

I really enjoy this library. Staff is very helpful. Go back often for different things, computer, copies, just reading. Judy- Kendallville
