No Way Jose

Food was mediocre. DO NOT GET FROZEN MARGARITAS terrible, no alcohol in them. Just a commercially made product. Price is ridiculous. Server could not understand any of us when ordering and didn’t get it correct even after pointing to the items in the menu. There are other authentic Mex restaurants in the area. Sadley the server automatically added a 20% tip to our party of 3. No warning no notice now no returning guests.

My husband and I (a married couple) went to eat at No Way Jose in Grenada with our three kids, my parents, and sister — so 8 of us total, but 5 of us as ONE immediate family. When we were seated, they asked adults sit at one table and our three kids at a separate table. Not the end of the world, but definitely not ideal when you’re trying to eat as a family. We ordered a large cheese dip for $10+ and it came out half full. When I politely went to ask about it, I was treated like I didn’t know what I was talking about and shown a small cup “for comparison.” The “large” literally fit into that small cup. A whole table behind me even agreed it looked half full. That was the first red flag. Then the food came out. Everyone’s meal was barely warm, and my husband’s and mom’s plates were cold.

My colleague referred me to go here for lunch. With a possible happy hour after work. However, decided to stop by and the service was really great along with a lively atmosphere with an array of televisions with different things on each. My colleague orders for us the "No Way Jose Dip" which really was a sin to eat. Without sounding too cliche this dip was so damn good guys. When I was eating it with the nice hot chips I was thinking what are you doing. You are not going to be able to eat your entree. I tried so hard to stop but it tasted so good in my mouth. Yes, just what I said I was only take to eat one of my tacos that was so filling and the fish was fried to perfection. I haven't eaten Mexican food this good in a while. Friendly service, great food, just a little pricey but enough food for two to eat off of the meals. The meals come with a lot of sides!!! Highly recommend.
