STAY AWAY!! this place has gotten so bad over the last few months. idk if they changed chefs or changed owners but the quality is TERRIBLE. there's so many wonderful chinese take out places and this is just not one of them anymore because the owners wants to be cheap and pinch pennies. I ordered their roast duck dish and got SIXTEEN OUNCES - a full pound of CABBAGE in oil instead of the usual snowpeas, mushrooms, carrots, bamboo shoots and broccoli. absolutley despicable. No.1 Chinese Resturant is now last on my list of places to order from and I suggest you look elsewhere as well.

I ordered spicy broccoli with garlic sauce, and it came without any hint of garlic, and no spice. It seems like they just cooked broccoli and put it in cornstarch sauce. What a disappointment

My boyfriend and I ordered through here on GrubHub. The food was delivered on time. We ordered crab Rangoon, scallion pancakes, beef chow fun, Singapore style Mei fun. The crab Rangoon was pretty good and the singapore style Mei fun was delicious. The scallion pancakes however were not really that good, they were dry and had no flavor. They were absolutely not.your typical scallion pancakes at all. The beef chow fun was ok too, it wasn't your traditional chow fun flavor either. Not sure I would order here from again.

Looks of the restaurant is not that great, but the service along with the food was good. I ordered general tso tofu with broccoli.

The expense here is completely justified. Personnel - outstanding - amiable and observant. You should visit for their flavorful dishes. You'll appreciate the pleasant surroundings. Visit for a meal soon.
