Nino's Greek Cafe

I love gyros! Whenever I see a new greek spot I always stop in and give it a shot. Nino’s did not disappoint! The gyro wrap combo was right out of the oven HOT! They included dipping sauce, (which looked and tasted homemade) and fresh red onions (huge fan of onions!) and the pita wrap itself was airy and warm, absolutely delicious! The fries were the perfect type of crispy and had flavorful seasoning on top, not too much, but just enough to kick it up a notch! Next time I’m over in the Phoenix area, I’ll be stopping in again to get more lamb!

I have been here many times & usually it’s good. Expensive, but good. Lately it has been garbage. The meat was over cooked, the pita bread broke in half when I tried to eat it. The fries not cooked all the way. For $18.54 this is sad. Honestly you could get a better gyro at Arby’s for a lot less $.

Ate here tonight for the first time. Cute local cafe vibes with indoor seating and an outside deck with nice low ambient light. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful explaining some the dishes we weren't familiar with and giving her recommendations. Food came out super quickly after ordering. Even when several other folks came in to order, the woman checked back in with us to see how our meal was. All the food was great, and we will definitely be back to try more dishes. Food portions are huge and a platter is easily enough for two meals, if not three. I would love to see some dolmas/dolmades on the menu! Great spot, highly recommend for both quality service and delicious food.

I put in a to go order for a Chicken Slouvaki Platter. Found it a little weird they told me it would be 5 minutes because the chicken skewers take time to cook over an open flame. This is what I received. Where's the chicken skewers at? Where's the fries? This isn't a lot of chicken either. This was really disappointing. I definitely gave me some leftover chicken, chopped it up, put it on the grill for a little bit and put it over the rice. This was not worth my money. I was hoping to save half my chicken for dinner but there’s hardly any chicken! They’re all thin and seldom. I didn't grab my receipt so guess I can't get my money back.

Ordered the cheeseburger, meat was overcooked and had no flavor. Fries were mediocre. Why soo much mayonnaise?
