Ninja bowl teriyaki - FG

Lovely place in Forest Grove to get teriyaki. They recently did some updates on the inside and the atmosphere has improved from a strip mall restaurant to a place you would actually like to sit and eat for an extended period of time.

Clean and quiet. Decent foods. There are regular size and mini bowl options. Free hot miso soup for dine in. Plenty of parking, next to Safeway.

The food here is consistently good. Nothing AMAZING but it is what it is. The reason I’m giving it a 2 (and not a 3 which I would say has been my experience otherwise- can’t give it a 2.5 or else I would) is because their pictures always show a side of veggies (teriyaki bowl, beef bulgogi, etc. All images show the rice, the meat, and the veggies). When I got my order it was only meat and rice. I had ordered this instead of another dish because it came with veggies so it was a bummer to not have that. Food was still fine - but it was not as advertised in their images.

After tonight I will not be going back....slow time to get food and then seriously witnessed a door dash guy bring back in the wrong order after already leaving way before we placed our order saying "this wasn't part of the order you gave me" he leaves and the 2 females behind the counter look at it puzzled and then tie it back up and place it back on the shelf for someone else to take. Once food leaves it should NEVER be placed back for others to consume.

The place looked really nice while I was waiting. I always get a rose milk tea with boba and it's always so good! Keeps me coming back, I didn't have to wait long at all.
