Customer Reviews
The variety of food here is plentiful and the customer service is amazing. My favorite dish was the fried Tilapia with acheke (green sauce on the side) as well as the pounded yam with egusi. Call 30 mins ahead of time if you want Tilapia because they cook it to order. However, everything was delicious. I’d definitely be back! I did a full review on Tik Tok: Safiya Lin
ordered from here many times, including just this past Wednesday, and this experience was completely different. The staff member was rude and rushed me through my order. When I got home, I noticed I was given only three pieces of meat, which has never happened before—meat has never been counted or limited in my past orders. When I called to ask about it, I was told this was the rule, which I know is untrue based on repeated visits. What made it worse was that the staff member’s entire demeanor changed once she heard me speak Twi and realized I’m Ghanaian. Before that, I was treated poorly and served differently. This experience felt prejudiced and unfair. Very disappointing for a place I’ve supported multiple times.
I drove over an hr to come here but if your Amercian don’t bother they don’t care about you. They are extremely rude, I had a man cut infront of me and instead of the worker telling him to get behind she let him cut me and continued to service him and ignore me. Just RUDE I will never go there again.
Ghanaians are famous for having the sweetest Jollof rice, by sweet I mean most flavorful. If you want heat try Nigerian Jollof. However, this rice was burned, BLAND orange rice, served from a large clear plastic bag, with not even a tiny bit of cardamom, or any spices in it at all. No Akwawaba here. The banku was bogus, the fufu was loose, damb near watery and the pounded yam tasted like sour dough, simply disgusting and disappointing. The woman behind the counter simply saw $$$ when we walked in, offering us a small, half pan of imitation Jollof rice for $150. I have traveled to Ghana and experienced authentic Ghanaian food. I was hoping for even a hint of real Ghanaian cuisine. THIS, was anything but. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! To top it all off, there are no prices listed inside. I
Rude an rushed, I'm American idk wth I'm asking for, but I like to try..I went once last year, the ladys are rude...I tried again this year same attitude different lady, over priced for all tht rice an two pieces of meat.. Girl Bye
