Customer Reviews
We went to Nile Ethiopian Restaurant for the first time, and it was also our first time trying Ethiopian food. The experience was fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, perfectly spiced, and served in a way that made the whole meal feel unique and authentic. We actually walked about 1.5 miles (around 30 minutes) to get there, and it was totally worth it. The injera was fresh and paired beautifully with the different meats and vegetables. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel comfortable as first-time diners of Ethiopian cuisine. We would definitely come back again to enjoy more of the menu and keep exploring Ethiopian flavors.
Amazing food with a sweet host. Never had Ethiopian food before but i do feel this was super authentic. Pretty chill vibe as well
During my recent visit to Nile Ethiopian Restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. Getu, the owner, was incredibly hospitable and passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Ethiopia. His enthusiasm was evident as he guided me through the menu and provided insightful recommendations. The highlight of my meal was the traditional Ethiopian platter, beautifully presented on a large injera, a spongy sourdough flatbread that serves as both the plate and an edible utensil. The injera was perfectly fermented, offering a delightful tang that complemented the array of vibrant and flavorful dishes arranged on top. Among the standout dishes were the Misir Wot, a spicy lentil stew with a robust depth of flavor; the Atakilt Wat, a deli
This place is so delicious! Whenever I am in the District, this is my go-to for Ethiopian. Got take out just a few days ago (combo sampler) and shared with my family and we were all full and happy. I wish I had taken pictures but we devoured every thing so fast there was no time! If you want good, authentic Ethiopian food that won't break the bank, this is your place.
I tried this restaurant out because I was in the area and needed to get breakfast. This service was amazing and I had a chat with the owners son who was very helpful in choosing my breakfast option. This was also my first time at an Ethiopian restaurant. Loved it and would go back again soon.
