Nik's Giovannis Take Out Route

This is by far my favorite sandwich place in Massachusetts. Their subs are top quality - tons of meat, fresh toppings and always assembled with care. My favorites are the roast beef and chicken kebab subs. Excellent service as well. Call ahead if you're picking up.

Up until tonight I used to order salads from Nik's all the time ever since they opened. Service was always ok and the food was decent and convenient. Last time I ordered from there I received what was supposed to be 2 steak tip kebab salads, but ended up being greasy cube steak on a salad. My mother has ordered steak tip salads from there before and got real steak tips. I returned to see if maybe they gave me the wrong order but instead was met with attitude and excuses. They said that they now "squish" their steak tips down in order to cook them. There is no way what I got on my salads were squished down steak tips. I wish I could attach a photo. They did not offer to remedy my problem in any way despite me being a loyal customer. I don't know what happened to this place but it has really

We walked in service was fast n pleasant, placed our order my man got the spaghetti n meatballs, I got haddock dinner. Large portions, great flavor ,fresh n cheaper then most places in Boston . We'll b vising again , must try n plenty of parking out back.

So I chose this Giovanni's for a long time until the delivery staff started adding monies to my credit card even though I always paid the tip in cash at the door. DO NOT be taken advantage of!! the foods not so stellar that you should overpay because you do not want to drive and pick up. Shady, shady, even after multiple calls reporting same and receiving 'oh you should have called us same day'. Really? what credit card posts same day? Bad, bad, bad, - stay away!

Very dirty, flies everywhere, staff rude and unaccommodating, saw them dumping old grease in the field behind the restaurant and one delivery driver in particular looked like she was nodding off on heroin while smoking cigarette filters. Shady happenings, food is horrible as well. You couldn't pay me to eat there. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Don't eat there for your own well being.
