Nikki’s Dog House

Today, I had the MOST Satisfying Salad 🥗 - I know, satisfying and salad aren’t usually words that find themselves next to each other in a sentence 😅 - but it’s true! I just wish I’d thought to take a photo before I’d eaten half of it!!! Seriously, this was the largest, freshest, most delightful salad I’ve had in a long time. I said to a friend “Usually when I order a salad, it makes me sad! But this is the happiest salad in Putnam!” 😋 Erica’s Mexicali Salad for the win! 🏆

I went here yesterday and had the chili & ice cream! What a great little lunch place. They serve way more than just hotdogs. Can’t wait to try the huge chicken salad next! Thanks for hosting the Crowded Table gathering - great time!

Great place to get some steamed bun hit dogs. Been around forever, so you know they have to be doing something right. We stood around for a little while before we got someone to take our order, but once she came, she was super nice. Have really good hot dogs and a good selection to choose from. It is located in an easy in and out spot in Putnam with lots of other walkable places a bout. Good summer, place to grab some ice cream as well. Think I prefer Famous Frank's a little more due to their butter grilled buns, but you can't go wrong at Nikkis.

Order at counter. Pickup food when called. We had their veggie hot dogs. Just ok. Ordered a side of lime cilantro slaw. Very dry and not creamy. Literally just lime juice on slaw with pieces of cilantro. A creamy lime cilantro dressing would have been better.

Cool small town location ,nice people , We ordered a burger and fries with 2 chilly cheese dogs with sour Kraut ,catchup and mustard. Atmosphere is that of the late 80’s early 90’s and the music was a pleasant mix suiting the atmosphere Zero complaints about the food , perfect in my opinion Burger was cooked perfectly , flavorful and the Chilly was flavorful not over or under spiced Easy access parking in the rear , A fee spots out front but seem to be occupied quickly Over all good experience and will try something else when we return ! Keep up the good work , keep it simple as it is We enjoyed our visit !
