Night in Colombia is easily one of my favorite food spots in Hartford County! Started out with 2 beef empanadas each. The best thing about Colombian empanadas with the Aji Picante is how light they are (you can down them and not feel too stuffed). Entrée was steak, rice/egg, bean soup, and salad. All were phenomenal and mended together perfectly. The price-to-portion ratio is definitely reasonable. Got the Postobon Apple Soda and the Colombiana for drinks. Both priced pretty fairly given they’re imported. I’ve been back four times since then to get my 4 empanadas + drinks for lunch. They are consistent and don’t skimp out on portions (even with the sauce, other places serve it watery). If you’re in New Britain and want a cool vibe, staff who serve with a smile, and a business that hol
I went here one evening after work just to give them a try. The drinks were pretty good, had margaritas mango and passion fruit. The atmosphere was relaxing, we sat near the picture windows which gave a view of downtown not that it was captivating, it was just visual...lol. Now, on to the food. We had appetizers, the beef nachos, chicken quesadillas and carne frita (fried pork) Everything was just ok. I requested no onions and everything came out with onions. I didn't send it back because I don't like the thought of throwing away food and although they didn't follow instructions, we just made the best of the meal. The pork was a little too hard but not terrible. The appetizer selection wasn't vast but I had to remind myself that traditional appetizers are not their fortay. I'd say, you nee
I went here the other day to treat myself for once and it was lovely. The staff was so nice and friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. I had a chicken empanada and camarones a la diablo and it was so goooood!!! I also treated myself with a nice cold blue moon it was delicious I would totally recommend this spot 10 out of 10 definitely!!!
Right out of the oven Pan de Bonos. Delicious arepas and best Bandeja paisa. Strongly recommended!!!
The presentation of the food is amazing, the quality of ingredients was cheap the sweet plantain was cooked only in the outside completely uncooked inside the steak cut was tough and chewy. The service was slow. The space decor was good.
