Nicky's Place Bar & Pizza

I wish I lived in East Haven. I live in NYC, and I had the best pizza of my entire life at Nicky’s Place Bar & Pizza. I tried the Nickstrong pizza and the Hot Oil pizza. I had the Nickstrong first, and I was like, wow, I love this! Then I finished that slice and tried the Hot Oil pizza. After my first bite, I said, this is the best pizza I’ve ever had! I love the spiciness and the dough was chewy and flavorful. It was sooooo good 🤤 Also all the staff are so nice and attentive. I’ll definitely stop by again whenever I get a chance to come to Connecticut.

We ordered every 1 of their specialty pizzas, they all were great, my favorite tho was hot honey with pepperon, the lobster pizza definitely turned some heads. We had a apple pie and pumpkin pie dessert pizza to that was phenomenal. The waitresses were awesome and the owner came out and checked on us a few time's, super nice guy. Overall was a great time and the food was amazing.

Extremely awesome food. Wonderful people who greet you like your part of the family. Philly egg rolls were ❤️‍🔥! The pizza phenomenal. Next visit to Connecticut we will definitely be visiting when we touch down again. Many blessings and continued success and thanks for the warm hospitality.

My husband and I got hot wings, and a large pizza (w/ 2 alcoholic drinks). Everything was alright, but not super amazing or anything. Although the pizza looks super good, it was lacking in flavor and a bit too watery and mediocre for the price. The wings were pretty good though. Hot, saucy, and singed my nose hairs (more so because they're vinegary too). But nothing to write home about. It kills me that they give cheese instead of ranch for dipping though, but I must be too Midwestern. My espresso martini tasted somewhat unpleasant too, and I can't really put my finger on what exactly was wrong with it... Kind of like dirty soapy water. I've ordered it many times before then, and it never tasted quite like it, and I was sad trying to finish it. It was too expensive too. But it definitely

I always had a great experience there whether it was eat in or to go. Ant the owner is such a great guy and an amazing friend. I really appreciate everything you did especially last year the comedy show in memory of my late friend I definitely can't tell you enough how much it means to me. The food is always great and service was always great thanks to you and another one worth mentioning is Ashley. Always happy to share good comments with you
