MAMA MIA I’ve been wanting to try Nicky Slices for a long time but the take-and-bake just wasn’t for me. I’m so happy there’s a brick and mortar location now. This is easily some of the best pizza in the city. The dough reminds me of a light and fluffy focaccia and the crispy, caramelized, edges are the cherry on top. Excellent, robust, sauce and high quality cheese. Very strongly recommend. The Trophy Nuggets are spectacular as well. Fried chunks of breast meat covered in a sweet and spicy glaze. Super addictive. The ranch was a little too posh for me so I’ll probably stop by Wingstop for a side of ol’ trusty next time. 9.2/10 Clucks for the Trophy Nuggets. Also get there early because when we arrived at 4 there was already a ≈15 person line waiting for them to open. I’d imagine they
Pizzas are excellent and super large! My favorite was the Trophy Slices. The chicken nuggets were a hit! We got 4 pizzas for 6 of us, and split them into eight so that we could try multiple each. Loved it and will be back! We pre ordered online and that was the move. Picked up and very easy to take away.
I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the quality of the pizza wasnt worthy of the price paid. The crust of the pizza was tasty and I love Detroit style but the toppings and sauce sat on top of the pizza crust not really baked in. I loved the vibe of the place, the staff were very nice and helpful. It seems alot of people really like it but just not us.
I stopped by during soft opening since it's in the neighborhood. I got a slice of cheese and the Caesar salad. Pizza was excellent, and I would definitely stop by for a slice again. The salad had a sliced anchovy on top and had that great real Caesar flavor. I was quite full between the single slice and salad. I could have split the salad if I had someone else with me and still been happy. I didn't see seating available during the soft opening. Not sure if that will come later. Right now it's best as takeaway or eat on the sidewalk.
Just what STL needed! Loved are Pizza! Stopped by to get a big slice and we were not disappointed. We did realize most people were calling ahead, so be sure to do so to cut down your wait time. Playlist was exceptional too!
