Nick's Lake House Restaurant

I had a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress Priscilla was exceptionally kind and attentive, providing outstanding service throughout the evening. I truly appreciated her professionalism and would gladly return in the future.

Danya our server was the star of the show. She was prompt, friendly, patient. All around just a great aura and someone you want to take care of you while you dine with family. The fish & chips are STELLAR. The wings with garlic chili sauce were 10/10. Beautiful view on the water. Try to get here during sunset. All around just a lovely experience for the 2nd year in a row. They also have incredible seating, in the sense that there is a space for everyone. Inside bar seating, outside bar seating, inside dining, outside dining. Come here. You will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately, our experience at this place was very disappointing. I went with my husband hoping to enjoy a nice meal and the lake view. We were seated at a table, which we initially accepted, but we noticed several empty tables with a much better view. We kindly asked the waitress if we could move. She checked with the manager, but the answer was a rude and firm “no.” They said the tables were assigned to specific waitstaff and that it wouldn’t be fair to switch. Honestly, this made no sense to us — we weren’t asking to change servers, just to move to a different table. After that, the waitress’s attitude changed completely. She seemed upset and spoke to us with a noticeably negative tone, which made the people around us stare and made us feel really uncomfortable. At that point, we didn

Birria burger was pretty good but chips were from a bag, literally. My friend’s salmon dinner looked really good, and from the sight of her cleaned plate, it must have been good. The ricotta dip tasted as good as it sounded when reading it off of the menu! The sunset over the lake was beautiful. Overall, a pretty neat place with great views and good food. Fresh cut fries or house made chips would have secured a 5-star rating from me.

Updated June 03, 2025, Our first impression was based on Sunday evening experience as a neighbor. But since then we decided to give them a try and were pleasantly impressed. We were trying to rest at a quiet lakeside resort during a slow time Sunday night the week after Memorial Day. Then this band cranked it up so loud that it woke us up in our hotel room. Over 500 feet away measuring 85db, it was clearly above the safe listing level for anyone there, according to OSHA & NIOSH safe sound levels for humans. That killed the idea of us going there to try out their dinners that Sunday. If we can't hear the servers or each other's conversation, what's the point of going there for a romantic relaxing evening. Bad business decision hiring an arrogant band.
