15 bucks for a couple sliders, some mac and a drink may be easily overlooked if the food is well worth it. In this particular case the quality couldn't overshadow the price for me. Chopped brisket was a mix of dry and hard that sauce couldn't really fix. Mac was creamy and cheesy yet reminiscent of one of those aged cheddar mac and cheese tv dinners. Every bbq spot does something well and there's still time to find what this one does. For now it's just OK bbq. Update: I tried for a second time. This time I decided to try more of the meats. The sausage was fine in flavor and texture, though nothing special. We said we would be back… Great food no disappointment. This time we tried the brisket with corn and pork with sausage (my husband’s favorite). I can eat this bbq food every day. Our first time today visiting Nickel BBQ. We enjoyed the food very much. I had the nachos with turkey and my husband had the 3 meat: brisket, sausage and pork. Portions were good enough to satisfy our appetite. Meats were flavorful. We are very happy to have this place in Floresville. We will be back.

My MIL and I came for some good BBQ. We were not disappointed. We both ordered the Nickel Spud with brisket. Everything was delicious. Brisket cooked perfect and a very good sized potato. We also ordered a plate to go. We chose the brisket with mac-n-cheese and green beans. My husband loved everything. We went to eat here on a Tuesday evening around 6:00 pm and we were able to sit and eat. Very happy overall with our meal. Very reasonable pricing for the amount of food you receive.

Finally! We found a great BBQ spot in Floresville. Brisket was great , sausage was great, Ribs were Amazing, and the potato was loaded. The atmosphere is really nice and clean. Staff was very nice. This is the spot in Floresville.

$19 for a two-meat plate. I got sausage and ribs since they were out of brisket, and my sides were pit beans and mac and cheese. I got two small ribs and a quarter of a sausage link. Although the portions were small, they were delicious. The mac and cheese was good but dry at the end, and the pit beans tasted like they were canned. On top of this, I also paid $6 for some banana pudding, which was delicious as well, but the portion was not worth the price. Drinks don't come with the meal. My son also had a grilled cheese meal for $8; all it was was a simple grilled cheese with Lays chips and a drink. Again, the price was not worth the kids' meal. Overall, the food is great, just not worth the price. The only reason I would come back would be for the BBQ sauce, but if it's anything like this
