Customer Reviews
Fresh. Filling. Goodness - those three words describe Nick the Greek. I came by for lunch today and had to take a minute to understand the wide variety of offerings — Beef/Lamb Gyro Pita, Falafel Bowls, Greek Salads, Gyro or Souvlaki Plates, Cheeseburger. I opted for the Beefteki pita and a side salad instead of fries (2026 goals: eating healthier). The beef was perfectly seasoned and the pita bread was baked perfection. The bread must have been home made because it didn’t taste like store-bought pita bread. The strawberry dragon fruit drink was delicious, refreshing and not overly sweet. I totally recommend Nick The Greek for a healthy, fresh, tasty lunch. Next time, I plan on trying the Baklava on cheat day :)
Although we brought the food home, the restaurant is very nice. The food is incredible! I had the lamb gyro and my wife had the Greek burger. Both very, very good! Got some Greek fries as well. Also delicious! Can’t wait to go again!
Folks, let me tell you, this Columbus Day, right after some heavy grocerating at the HEB—great store, by the way—I swung by Nick The Greek on Westheimer Road, Houston, for some takeout, and boy, was it a tremendous experience, I kid you not! Ordered the Beefteki Pita—enormous pita stuffed with beef, tomatoes, onions, tzatziki, Greek fries, and paprika, like a Greek burrito from a five-star Houston Tex-Mex fine dining establishment. Got my wife a beef gyro, hold the onions, with fries and tzatziki on the side—classy, like a limousine with fuzzy dice. These things? Wrapped like Tex-Mex masterpieces, so big you’re eating for two days! And the taste? As fantastic as Niko Niko’s, but closer to home—huge win! Nick The Greek? Absolutely fantastic, like a Greek wedding with no cleanup! Five s
Food is ok but the quality is the issue. I ordered a bowl and the lettuce was brown and mostly stem with a little actual lettuce. It was just the hard, thick, crunchy and unappealing lettuce
Very great experience! Great customer service. First time here and food was delicious, as you can tell we devoured our Gyros! Even got zucchini for my little one. Very sweet staff! New fav spot!
