Niagara Pool

I don't understand the bad reviews in regards to the staff and service. I swim here regularly for lane swim and always the staff have been wonderful. Do I wish it was open later on weekends and that we had more consistent hours for lane swim? Yes. But the way they have it set now is to accommodate a little bit of everything for everyone. Understandable.

We are a long time residents of Niagara On The Lake. We have been going to the Memorial Pool for as long as we can remember. Over the past year or so this Pool has taken a major turn for the worse. No one is friendly. There’s not a single helpful individual in that office. They have drastically reduced the amount of public swim and lane swim that used to be scheduled a few years ago. I have reached out a few times to leadership at the town and they have been even more useless. There is not one friendly individual. They have lost their touch and this is no longer a small town swimming pool. I do not understand why it has come to this, As previous leadership was much better. Today was my sons birthday party and the entire family (10 people) went in first without me. I came by 15 minutes later trying to get into the pool area to spend time with my son and family but was denied entry because they are at capacity. I told them I was just going to stand in the shaded area and not going into the pool to swim) there were only about 5 people outside of the pool other than the two lifeguards) but they were adamant that I stay outside the pool and watch my family through go the wires fence. I realized there are rules and regulations but these people are totally devoid of human compassion. The front desk position could easily be filled with a robot if their only job is to charge money for tickets and count the number of people in the pool. Totally ruined my sons birthday

horrible customer service. rules that don’t make sense at all. apparently, people are gonna drown on land

They said they are open. Went there, but they are closed. Huge disappointment
