Niagara-On-The-Lake is one of the most scenic places to shop, pick and buy berries, eat ice cream and people watch! The centre of the town is the clock tower that was erected after the first World War. It commemorates the people who lost their lives - a living monument of thanks for their sacrifice. Shops on either side of the tower allow visitors to buy unique items not likely to be found elsewhere. From the Christmas Store to the linen shop (selling lace table mats and Canadian labeled clothing) to the ice cream parlor and restaurants there is something for everyone. I've taken a few photos of the shops I visited on the strip. Leaving Niagara-On-The-Lake I stopped off to pick and buy berries. Delicious!

The chief executive officer of Niagara on the Lake Library is banning my kid to participate in the library's programs for a month and he can not return until she has a conversation with me to set her expectations. My son is not the best kid on the planet but he is not the worst either. I thought that the library is about including everyone, especially the kids but apparently not. I am very disappointed by the way the chief executive officer handled the situation and I believe that my son is not included but excluded. How sad this can be in a era where we all talk about inclusion? Actually the inclusion is only for the people/kids that the chief executive officer wants to participate in the programs...and she didn't even replied to my email...I find it very disrespectful

I just needed to stop in quickly to be able to get some wifi access on my RV roadtrip. Although the lot was busy, I was able to find room for a 28 ft RV at the end of the lot. The person at the front entrance was helpful and enthusiastic. I'm hoping they might have a free book section I can peruse before I leave to continue my exploration of a bit of Ontario. Thanks for offering a quick little safe haven, NOTL library! I bet your community loves you!
