Newton Free Library

The library is magnificent, modern, and welcoming, with bright, open spaces that invite you to read and enjoy. The children’s area is amazing, colorful, and fun, filled with books, games, and creative corners that make kids fall in love with reading.

This is an excellent library. It really is everything a public library should be. Not to sound grandiose, but good public libraries are crucial to the fostering of a thoughtful and informed society. So it always reassures me to see people browsing the shelves and reading physical books each time I visit. It is a place where attentiveness can be cultivated and minds can, with luck, be rescued from the abyss of social media. This library has an excellent collection of books, and the staff is always welcoming and helpful. It is well laid out with plenty of work spaces. When inconsiderate patrons converse at length in quiet study areas librarians can be approached to ask them to respect the rules.

Space, study rooms, children's section and so many books to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. The third floor is dedicated to ELL learners and has free resources for those spraying for citizenship.

The MOST WONDERFUL LIBRARIANS!!!!! So helpful to abused women! The Librarians at the libraries in towns next to Newton refuse to help these women look up information.

I lovedd being here! Amazing atmosphere with all facilities! I went there to work on my PC. The atmosphere quite literally improved my efficiency! You are surrounded by perhaps more than a million books along with great people coming to read! I would definitely go here again and again
