Newport Creamery

Had not been to a Newport creamery in years. Food was good. Prices reasonable. Friendly staff. Kid friendly. It was updated and clean in there Lots of options on the menu. Will be back. Sad to see the owners of garden city gave the one at that location a boot. It's a Rhode Island staple. Hope it stays around I'll be honest I didn't have high hopes.

Absolutely disgusting conditions, would’ve been better eating out of the dumpster outside. We arrived almost 2 hours prior to closing for some ice cream treats and food for our kiddos and found the floors covered in food, filthy tables, staff clearly could care less. We were seated at a table covered in a sticky wet variety of things, after asking for napkins to clean it ourselves and not being given any my husband ran to the car to get sanitizing wipes. We would’ve left well before this if the kids didn’t have their hearts set on ice cream for my daughters birthday. The staff seemed to let our poor waitress Ariana, run the entire show. She was great, very sweet, and we felt bad for her. She did try to clean a few tables in down time while other employees sat at the counters. Our feet stuc

My husband & I are long time customers of Newport Creamery in Greenville however the past year or so the service is consistently slow and poor due to lack of staff. The waitresses try, but are overwhelmed and we were left waiting for so long we have decided we will no longer go there. Also it was painful to watch an elderly man leaning on the counter because he had trouble standing & no one took the time just to seat him & his 2 companions. I hope this situation resolves itself because we love lunching there but it's not worth it anymore. Hire more help!

Today between 2 an 3 mty husband an i were at Newport Cremary. We had a lousy experience of being there today. We put our order in an brings us rhe food with No silverware. This was the same waitress rhat seated us. I said i wanted cole slaw with my fries had to ask for that also. We had fish and chips. Then went to eqt an neither of us had tqrter sauce an hqd to wait for that for a whule. We both ate our meal wirh nothing to drink. Hqd finished first drink. After that i wanted a 1 scoop ice cream w cgerry an cone one the side. She dorgot voth. Waited 20 min for dessert And by then there were only 4 other tables. Please make this server better. She was awful
