Newk's Eatery

My first visit, had the 3 mix, Greek salad, Italian 1/2 sandwich and potato soup, drink. The staff were great and the manager was awesome, he even helped the staff. That Greek salad, I've got to get it again but next time a larger version. Everything was delicious.

The lady at the checkout counter was so rude didn’t smile or anything or even look up from the computer. I ordered to go and the lady in the kitchen on the other side was rude and got smart with me after I asked about my order after waiting 20+ minutes. Then the sandwich has maybe 1 slice of turkey. Very disappointed with the amount of turkey. I mean come on….

It was our first time of eating there after once we figured out how we had to look over the menu then give our order to one of the Clerck’s behind the counter. We had a gift card without any knowledge of how much money was on it. we placed our order and had some left in on the card. One of the ladies behind the counter came to the table we were at and showed how much we had remaining we decided to get another sandwich to take home and give the balance to them as a tip. mr

Restaurant was clean we were served our meal quickly! Love the tuna sandwich! Please keep it on your menu.

Not the Newk's I remember and I'm not sure what happened. I grew up going to this location but the experience today was abysmal. The portion sizes were smaller than expected and I'm not sure why they're still using the plastic take-out boxes, which are not very user friendly. Normally, a lunch at Newk's involved wanting to prolong the visit and chat with your friends and family. Today, we sat in silence and some people didn't even finish their food. Gave us a lot of time to look around and note how the employees needed to take better care of the space. Not a single table was cleared and it wasn't even 11:30 AM so the lunch rush hadn't even arrived.
