Newfoundland Area Public Library

As a child, visiting my grandparents during the summers, I would visit the Newfoundland library. My grandparents started it in 1967. It is so good to see it is still around. I believe my little wooden table and chairs is still in the children's area. Great to see they have celebrated 50 years. Libraries are very important. Please support them!

I had a fun time at the eclipse party. Good hot dogs and chips. Mostly cloudy, but I was able to see parts of the eclipse. Met new people, and enjoyed myself.

This surprisingly sprawling library is stocked to the gills with books for old and young! I spent the morning there reading some reference books on colonial America and the staff were incredibly helpful with all my requests. I highly recommend visiting here if you live in Wayne county. Visitors, I believe, need to get a temporary card to borrow books but it's not a complicated process.

Awesome library! It has a great play space for younger children, friendly staff, and access to so many books and resources through Wayne/Pike counties. Truly a hidden gem!

The women are so nice! They have a lot of books to choose from for the entire family. Bring your kids! Teach them to read early. There is nothing like a good book!!
